COVID-19 Update

GoodNaz Church's Response to Coronavirus:

Social Distanced Services @ 8:30AM & 10:30AM

Goodlettsville, TN, July 28, 2020 –  We are currently offering two live services; one at 8:30AM and one at 10:30AM.  Our 10:30AM service will continue to be live streamed.  We are still maintaining social distancing standards as we move forward.  Out of respect for other families, we would ask that you would do your best to abide by the following guidelines in each stage.  

STAGE 3 (Start July 12th) with “Social Distancing”

  • Welcome back!

  • Both 8:30 am and 10:30 am services continue for everyone

  • Rows will be spread apart and families allowed to sit together during services

  • Full Band and Praise Team 

  • Elementary Department will be open during the 10:30 service

  • Preschool Department will be open during the 10:30 service

  • No congregational greeting time

  • Offering will be received by boxes secured at the exits as you leave, or you can give online at goodnaz.org/give

  • No on-site connect groups

 

STAGE 4-TO BE DETERMINED

  • All worship and church activities resume

  • All children’s ministries resume

  • All Wednesday evening activities resume

  • All on-site connect groups return

  • Full Band and Praise Team

  • No congregational greeting time

  • Offering will be received by baskets placed at the exits or you can give online at Goodnaz.org/give

  • Full choir returns 

 

FOR ALL OF THE STAGES ABOVE

  • Continue safe distancing by staying 6 feet away from others.

  • The CDC recommends you wear a mask or face covering.  We urge you to wear a face covering for the protection of those around you. 

  • Seating will be spaced out at least six feet apart; household families may sit together, while others should maintain safe distancing.

  • Please stay at home and watch online if you or anyone living in your home is sick or you have recently been in close contact with anyone sick within the last two (2) weeks OR if you may be vulnerable to contracting the virus.

  • Practice good hand hygiene. Wash your hands with soap and warm water. Hand sanitizer will be placed at the doors and throughout the building.

  • Cover coughs and sneezes 

  • We ask that you practice social distancing with everyone except your family. Please only greet people with words, smiles or gestures.   NO CONTACT PLEASE.

  • The State of Tennessee Guidelines for Faith Based Community Initiatives will be followed along with the CDC guidelines for communities of faith.

 

DISINFECTING AND CLEANING

  • Goodnaz will CONTINUE cleaning and disinfecting the building after each service.

  • We will provide hand sanitizer at all doors and throughout the building

  • All entrance doors will be opened for attendees with the automatic door opener, a greeter or propped open

 

STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS

  • Goodnaz will screen all staff and volunteers for COVID-19 symptoms before services by temperature and asking the following questions:

  • Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?

  • Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?

  • Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?

  • Have you had new loss of taste or smell?

  • Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

  • We encourage you to stay at home if you are symptomatic, have a fever, have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, or have traveled internationally or to a domestic hot spot in the past two weeks.

  • If you have exhibited COVID-19 symptoms (i.e., answers yes to any of the screening questions above) please seek immediate medical care and/or COVID-19 testing. 

 

 

Please be aware, these dates are subject to change with the recommendations of our Governor and State Health Department. We pray these stages can be moved up drastically BUT without further information from Governor Lee, we are left to only anticipate things as they come.
